Product Requirements
====================
HP PerfRX Analysis Software provides the user interface to
performance data.  It does not actually collect the data.  The
HP Performance Collection Software, which is available as a
separate product for HP-UX and Sun or as part of the HP GlancePlus
Pak bundle, is required to do the actual collection of performance
data.
 
Hardware Requirements:
----------------------
PerfRX requires an HP9000 Series 600, 700, or 800 system with
the following minimum configuration:
 
* A minimum of 16 MBytes of memory
 
* Approximately 20 MBytes of free disk space
 
* Color graphics monitor with a minimum of 1024 x 768 resolution
  and 6 color planes required, 1280x1024 and 8 color planes
  recommended.
 
* A PostScript printer if you want to print graphs directly from
  PerfRX.  PCL printers are not supported.
 
Software Requirements:
----------------------
* HP-UX version 8.0 or later (HP-UX version 8.08 is not supported)
 
* X-Window System (Motif).  The Motif X server display station can
  be a system other than the system running PerfRX if you plan to
  export the DISPLAY. 
